Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we foster a supportive environment within a thriving community of 200 students and over 50 staff members. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, offering a comprehensive international education in English for students aged 3-19. In 2020, we proudly achieved 9th place in Switzerland for our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results and ranked among the top 50 in Europe.

International School Rheintal is seeking to recruit an outstanding German Teacher (PYP/MYP) for our growing IB international school in the picturesque region of Switzerland. Your Profile

Candidates should possess extensive experience in teaching German and demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting multilingualism. We are specifically looking for a proficient German B (Language Acquisition) teacher; native fluency in German would be a significant advantage. We seek individuals who thrive in diverse teams and display a professional commitment to student-initiated, inquiry-led teaching and learning.

We are seeking teachers who:

• Align with our guiding values and principles
• Are qualified teachers with a minimum of three years of teaching experience (with qualified teacher status or an internationally recognized equivalent) and hold at least a bachelor’s degree
• Possess significant experience and expertise in teaching German Language B, Language Acquisition in a senior school (ages 11-18)
• Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment that fosters academic and personal excellence
• Exhibit enthusiasm and a positive, empathetic approach towards students, colleagues, and the broader community
• Are internationally-minded and dedicated to the IB philosophy
• Are excited about leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning for all
