Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we offer a supportive environment in a thriving school community of 200 students and over 50 staff members. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a full international education in English for students aged 3 to 19. In 2020, we were ranked 9th in Switzerland for our IBDP results and among the top 50 in Europe.

Your Profile

Candidates should have extensive experience in teaching German Language Acquisition (German B) to both fluent and beginner primary-age German speakers. Proficiency in German at a native level is highly desirable. We seek educators who are committed to a student-initiated, inquiry-led approach to teaching and learning, and who thrive in a diverse team environment.

We are seeking teachers who:

• Align with our guiding statements and values
• Are a qualified teacher with at least three years of teaching experience (with qualified teacher status or internationally recognized equivalent) and hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Have significant teaching experience and expertise in German Language Acquisition (German B) for primary and/or middle years
• Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment
• Exude enthusiasm and maintain a positive, empathetic approach towards students, colleagues, and the community
• Are internationally-minded and dedicated to the IB philosophy
• Are excited about leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Commit to professional development and continuous improvement
• Engage with and contribute to the vibrant life of the school
