Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we offer a supportive environment within a thriving school community of 200 students and 50+ staff. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a full international education in English for ages 3-19. International School Rheintal is seeking to recruit an outstanding

German Teacher (PYP/MYP)

for our growing IB international school in a beautiful region of Switzerland. We actively welcome applications from underrepresented groups in international education, while also supporting families with children. The successful candidate will be joining our diverse team of dedicated and experienced international school teachers.

Your Profile

Candidates should be highly experienced in teaching German and committed to promoting multilingualism. We are looking for a strong German B (Language Acquisition) teacher; fluency in German at a native level would be a significant advantage. We seek educators who thrive in a diverse team and demonstrate a professional commitment to student-initiated, inquiry-led teaching and learning.

We are seeking teachers who:

• Are aligned with our guiding statements and values
• Are qualified teachers with at least three years of teaching experience (with qualified teacher status, or internationally recognized equivalent) and a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Have substantial experience in teaching German Language B, Language Acquisition in a Senior School (ages 11-18)
• Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment where academic and personal excellence is cultivated
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, positivity, and empathy towards students, colleagues, and the broader community
• Are internationally-minded and committed to the IB philosophy and approach
