Currently, on behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Geriatric Nurse for a temporary position at 80% capacity.
Your Future Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Conduct therapeutic interviews to establish a strong relational foundation with elderly individuals facing various psychological conditions, utilizing conversational techniques and adapted therapeutic tools.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, providing comfort care and executing somatic care procedures, including dressings and other technical tasks.
- Manage crisis situations with composure, providing immediate and appropriate support during challenging phases for specific residents.
- Act as a trusted partner to communicate with relatives and families, ensuring smooth and reassuring updates on the resident's progress.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent diploma.
- Experience in psycho-geriatrics, comfortable managing individuals with psychological disorders.
- Calmness, rigor, and empathy when facing crises and mental health challenges.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring consistent communication for quality support.
- Strong relational skills to build trusting relationships with patients and their families.
