Join Our Team as a Junior HR Generalist

Are you ready to advance your HR career in a vibrant international environment? Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Junior HR Generalist to join our dynamic and rapidly growing organization in Frankfurt. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our European expansion while supporting various HR operations, payroll coordination, employee engagement, onboarding, and strategic HR projects.

This onsite position requires your presence in our Frankfurt office 4-5 days a week. You will collaborate closely with the HR Manager and work alongside teams across Europe as well as with our global headquarters in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
    • Prepare, review, and coordinate employment contracts, amendments, letters, and other HR documentation.
    • Support the full employee lifecycle from new hires to offboarding.
    • Maintain accurate employee data and documentation.
    • Keep Workday updated with complete and current employee information.
  • Payroll Coordination
    • Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll inputs and changes with our external payroll provider.
    • Review payroll information, address discrepancies, and ensure timely submissions of relevant changes.
    • Act as an internal contact for payroll-related inquiries.
  • Onboarding & Employee Support
    • Enhance the onboarding program for new recruits, ensuring a seamless integration.
    • Be a visible and approachable HR contact for employees in the Frankfurt office.
    • Assist employees with day-to-day HR inquiries and support new joiners during their initial months.
  • HR Projects & European Growth
    • Support the HR Manager with local and European HR projects as the organization expands.
    • Collaborate with headquarters on HR initiatives and process improvements.
    • Contribute to annual HR cycles like rewards and compensation planning.
    • Help enhance and scale HR processes and policies as we grow in Europe.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, or a similar generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes with a desire to develop into a broader HR Generalist position.
  • Proficiency in handling employment contracts and confidential HR information.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes or experience with external payroll providers is advantageous.
  • Experience using Workday or another HRIS/payroll system would be beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Confident and approachable communication style, comfortable representing HR.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Able and willing to work onsite in Frankfurt 4-5 days per week.
