MY TASKS

• Independent assembly of components for specialized and rack railway gearboxes
• Assembly and alignment of bearing units
• Thermal and hydraulic joining of cylindrical and conical press connections
• Mechanical processing on conventional lathes
• Joining wheelsets at the MAE wheelset press when required
• Development of continuous improvement proposals within the department

MY PROFILE

• Completion of vocational training as a machine technician, polymechanic, or automated technician (EFZ)
• Proficient in German, both spoken and written
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
• Structured and goal-oriented working style with a focus on quality
• Experience in using measuring tools and operating machinery
• Responsible handling of materials, tools, and equipment
• Enthusiastic about work, with a strong sense of commitment and initiative
• Motivated, honest, and flexible personality
