Position Overview: Functional/Technical Trainer

As a Functional/Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, role-specific training to new and existing employees in the technical field. You will play a key role in ensuring that all staff receive practical, effective, and standard-compliant instruction—from onboarding through to specialized technical training. In close collaboration with the Training Coordinator and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the ongoing development and success of our functional training program.

Your Tasks

• Deliver practical, hands-on training to technical staff according to role-specific requirements
• Support the onboarding process by conducting initial technical training sessions
• Ensure all training content is aligned with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to ensure consistent training quality and documentation
• Provide feedback and evaluation of participants to support their development
• Assist in updating and improving training materials and methods
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programmes in cooperation with technical departments and learning workshops

Your Profile

• Vocational qualification in a technical field (e.g., aircraft maintenance, mechanics, or engineering)
• Additional training in adult education or a strong interest in developing teaching skills
• Hands-on experience in a technical or MRO environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Organised, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Good MS Office 365 knowledge
• High level of English (C1); German is a plus
