Job Description

Your Role
As a skilled BA/.NET developer, you will play a key role in expanding our global analytics team, utilizing the rich data from our in-house end-to-end trading system alongside external datasets. This position offers a chance to interact directly with our business operations.
As a member of our analytics team based in Geneva, Switzerland, you will:
- Develop a new Master Data platform to unify our applications, integrating them with a common set of entities such as locations, vessels, and contracts.
- Analyze business needs and identify use cases for various systems, designing optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with a global development team.
- Translate user feedback into actionable design improvements and bug fixes.
- Implement clean, well-documented, tested, and extensible code that meets business requirements.
- Provide business application support and training to users on day-to-day issues.
You will work on exciting and diverse projects including:
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based systems.
- Data ingestion and distribution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with C# and related .NET technologies within global enterprise solutions.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with agile scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with project stakeholders.
- Proactive, user-focused, and possessing a can-do attitude, with a genuine interest in both the functional and technical aspects of challenges.
- Commitment to driving software development best practices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Additional Information
Qualifications that will help you stand out:
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus.
- Familiarity with Reactive Extensions (RX) preferred.
- Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry.
- A university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the French language is advantageous.
