Qualifications & Competencies

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar luxury environment within Front Office.
  • A cordial host with a thorough understanding of exemplary service.
  • Initial leadership experience, with a passion for coaching and training team members.
  • Ambitious, with a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail.
  • A person with team spirit, a friendly demeanor, and an open personality.
  • Flexible and conscientious in approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the capability to think clearly and calmly under pressure.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the Front Office team to ensure smooth, efficient, and personalized guest check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Manage high volumes of guest arrivals and departures during peak periods while consistently delivering personalized service.
  • Act as a primary contact for VIP guests, handling special requests and ensuring consistent personalized service.
  • Ensure daily shift handovers are seamless, detailed, and effective.
  • Monitor guest billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily briefings, providing updates on occupancy, VIP arrivals, and other critical information.
  • Address guest complaints or service issues, ensuring resolutions that maintain the hotel’s esteemed reputation.
  • Ensure adherence to all Chenot policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Drive upselling initiatives to maximize hotel revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare operational reports and represent the Front Office management team in departmental meetings.
  • Act in the capacity of Assistant Front Office Manager (AFOM) and Front Office Manager (FOM) during their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and high operational standards.
