Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee and execute the daily operations at our Front Desk. This role requires a strong understanding of hotel standard procedures, including check-in/out protocols, housekeeping operations, supply management, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of excellence in guest care through a warm welcome and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular operational meetings with branch members to review routine matters, address departmental performance targets, and gather guest feedback.
- Address all day-to-day queries, complaints, or issues that may arise at the branch.
- Monitor the branch functions book and stay updated on all changes and amendments.
- Liaise daily with the General Manager and Direct Manager to forecast hotel business and plan accordingly.
- Maximize financial opportunities by fostering a proactive up-selling environment throughout the property.
- Carry out Duty Management shifts as necessary.
- Conduct regular fire drills and Health & Safety audits.
- Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and team meetings.
- Perform regular inspections across all departments, focusing on guest service delivery, cleanliness, presentation, and employee grooming standards.
- Ensure the health and safety of yourself, employees, guests, and all individuals on the premises is prioritized.
Qualifications
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is required.
- Must reside in Switzerland.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in the Switzerland hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driving license is required.
