We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as a Front Desk Operations Manager. This role involves executing daily operations at the front desk, ensuring adherence to hotel standard procedures including check-in and check-out processes, housekeeping coordination, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily front desk operations, maintaining hotel standards for cleanliness and supply management.
- Foster a culture of excellence in guest service by providing a warm welcome and exceeding guest expectations.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless operation of day-to-day functions.
- Address and resolve any queries, complaints, or problems that arise promptly and effectively.
- Monitor the front desk functions book and stay updated on all changes and amendments.
- Liaise with the Direct Manager to forecast reservations on a weekly basis and plan operations accordingly.
- Maximize financial opportunities by creating a proactive up-selling environment throughout the property.
- Conduct duty shifts as required and perform regular inspections for cleanliness and health & safety audits.
- Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and regular team meetings.
Qualifications
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is required.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Must reside in or near Interlaken.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Switzerland hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
