Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of guest service. The ideal candidate will embody a culture of excellence, welcoming guests with warmth and a commitment to exceeding their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily operations for the front desk, adhering to hotel standard procedures including check-in/out, housekeeping, and supply management.
- Promote exceptional guest care through a friendly welcome and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Address all queries, complaints, or issues that may arise during daily operations.
- Monitor the front desk functions book, staying updated with all changes and amendments.
- Regularly liaise with the Direct Manager to forecast weekly reservations and plan accordingly.
- Maximize financial opportunities by fostering a proactive up-selling environment throughout the property.
- Execute duty shifts as required.
- Conduct regular inspections, cleanliness checks, and Health & Safety audits.
- Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.
Qualifications
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is required.
- Fluency in French is essential.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in the Switzerland hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
