Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of guest service. The ideal candidate will embody a culture of excellence, welcoming guests with warmth and a commitment to exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily operations for the front desk, adhering to hotel standard procedures including check-in/out, housekeeping, and supply management.
  • Promote exceptional guest care through a friendly welcome and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Address all queries, complaints, or issues that may arise during daily operations.
  • Monitor the front desk functions book, staying updated with all changes and amendments.
  • Regularly liaise with the Direct Manager to forecast weekly reservations and plan accordingly.
  • Maximize financial opportunities by fostering a proactive up-selling environment throughout the property.
  • Execute duty shifts as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections, cleanliness checks, and Health & Safety audits.
  • Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is required.
  • Fluency in French is essential.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience in the Switzerland hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
