Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to manage the daily operations of the Front Desk. This role involves executing hotel standard procedures, overseeing check-in/out processes, coordinating housekeeping, managing supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and ultimately enhancing guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will:
- Promote a culture of excellence in guest care through a warm welcome and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Address all queries, complaints, or problems that arise effectively.
- Monitor the front desk functions book and stay updated with all changes and amendments.
- Liaise daily with the Direct Manager to forecast reservations on a weekly basis and plan accordingly.
- Maximize financial opportunities and foster a proactive up-selling environment throughout the property.
- Carry out duty shifts as required.
- Conduct regular inspections, cleanliness checks, and Health & Safety audits.
- Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and regular team meetings.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is required.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Swiss hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
