Join Our Team
To support its growth, LMS is seeking hardware engineers to join our team in Baar, Switzerland. Primary day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Hands-on interaction with advanced technology in a team-oriented and supportive environment
- Participating in business requirements discussions and:
- Proposing and/or evaluating solutions to technological and performance requirements
- Conducting research to identify possible solutions
- Transforming validated and approved solutions into high-level architecture design
- Creating and/or modifying design schematics and circuitry at a unit and system level
- Executing logic simulations of RTL to verify conformance, functionality, and timing reliability
- Designing and implementing performance benchmarking tools and plans
- Managing and maintaining project components including code/design documentation, code base/version control, and project management tools
- Creating and/or modifying design and code in languages such as C/C++, Python, Golang, NodeJS, and Java
- Conducting peer code reviews
Qualifications
If you have experience with one or more of the following, we want to meet you:
- FPGA design experience, including timing closure, design cycle, simulation, and test tools
- Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Vivado
- Experience with simulators (e.g., Modelsim)
- Working knowledge of Ethernet/IP/TCP and familiarity with packet processing
- Experience in PCI-Express device driver or Linux kernel module development
- C/C++/Java/Embedded Software experience
- Linux (RHEL/Centos) administration and network tool proficiency
- Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (Shell, Perl)
- Experience with distributed version-control systems (Git preferred)
