Fondation Le Grammont is a Swiss charitable foundation that was established in 2023. Our mission is to support impactful projects both nationally and internationally across three key pillars:

What We Are Looking For
Fondation Le Grammont is in search of a Foundation Manager who will coordinate and enhance the foundation's philanthropic activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster long-term partnerships aligned with the foundation's mission.
You will be responsible for overseeing the foundation's operations, managing grant processes, and representing the foundation externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management & Grant-making: Independently select suitable partners, conduct due diligence, and monitor ongoing initiatives. Prepare documentation, reports, and recommendations for the Foundation Board.
- Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the foundation, including administrative, financial, and program activities. Prepare annual budgets and financial reports.
- Strategy Development and Board Support: Refine and support the further development of the foundation's strategy across its three key pillars. Implement the foundation's strategy and prepare documentation for Foundation Board meetings.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build relationships with other funders and partner institutions. Represent the foundation in external meetings, events, and networks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role within a philanthropic foundation or NGO.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Knowledge and experience in marine and ocean sciences is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English, with basic proficiency in French required.
- A high degree of integrity and a commitment to philanthropic values.
Organizational Details
Start date: April 2026 or by agreement
Place of work: City center of Zurich, with the option for partial home-office work.
This is a newly created position. Initially, the Foundation Manager will be the sole employee of the foundation while being part of a broader team across related entities.
