Tasks

As the Flight Crew Roster Team Lead, you will oversee a team responsible for developing, optimizing, and publishing monthly flight crew rosters. You will align roster parameters and track crew capacities while focusing on crew satisfaction, productivity, and operational stability.

  • Oversee the development and publication of monthly rosters for flight crews, optimizing crew satisfaction, productivity, and operational stability.
  • Guide the development and evaluation of monthly roster scenarios, setting priorities in collaboration with capacity planning, crew control, and key interfaces.
  • Monitor short-term crew capacity trends, assess potential risks, and direct short-term actions to maintain operational stability.
  • Approve critical roster and absence change requests that directly impact planning outcomes.
  • Manage and develop the Flight Crew Roster Team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, aviation management, or equivalent education.
  • 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or strategic resource management, with familiarity in crew rostering systems and operational planning tools.
  • Operational mindset with the ability to assess and decide on complex planning scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in managing teams under pressure is strongly favored.
  • Fluent in English and German.
