We are looking for a dynamic fitness professional to join our Fitness Programme and PE Department. If you possess a strong fitness background and are keen on stepping into a broader PE role, this could be the ideal next step for you. You will deliver high-impact training sessions, support PE lessons, and promote a culture of health, strength, and resilience across the school.

In this hands-on role, you will lead group workouts, guide individual training, and energize every session. You will help maintain a high-performing fitness environment, assist with PE events, and immerse yourself in the school's active life, forging strong connections with students from around the globe.

With a packed calendar of outdoor and sports activities throughout the year, your days will always be engaging. This is your opportunity to join a progressive team that recognizes the power of sport in shaping character, building confidence, and fostering community.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a schedule reflecting the school’s dynamic timetable and activity needs. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 1:15 PM to 10:00 PM, including evening fitness sessions, as well as an additional Saturday evening session from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Please note this role follows the school calendar (term time only, with school holidays off).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead structured fitness sessions and provide personalized training in small groups.
• Design and manage individual fitness plans, tracking progress while collaborating with the medical team for injury prevention and rehabilitation support.
• Deliver inductions and specialized training, including private sessions and targeted group classes.
• Develop and run a comprehensive fitness program aligned with the school schedule and goals.
• Maintain a safe, professional fitness facility, overseeing daily operations, equipment care, and repairs.
• Support the PE department with lessons, events, and sports equipment management.
• Promote a high-performance culture, encouraging discipline, motivation, and student engagement in fitness while maintaining regular communication with houseparents and pastoral staff regarding student well-being and participation.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant qualification in fitness and/or sports field.
• First-aid certification.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in a fitness or coaching capacity.
• Experience in fitness program development and personal training.
• Prior experience in an educational or PE setting is a plus.
