Your Role: Financial Accounting Specialist
In this role, you will be a vital member of the Accelleron Switzerland Finance team based in Baden. You will play a key role in ensuring complete, accurate, and timely accounting for:
- Accelleron Switzerland Ltd. (principal company)
- Accelleron Industries Ltd. (holding company)
- Accelleron Verwaltungs Ltd. (holding company)
Your Responsibilities
You will oversee and be part of:
- General ledger bookings and monitoring general ledger accounts.
- Monthly closing in accordance with US-GAAP and reporting to group consolidation.
- Yearly closing in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and establishing the corresponding financial statements.
- Preparing or reviewing Swiss withholding tax and VAT filings.
- Managing changes to the chart of accounts from financial through management to group accounting.
- Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and reviewing internal controls.
- Communicating with stakeholders such as auditors, management, local/group finance, treasury, and tax teams.
- Implementing best practices and driving continuous optimization of processes.
- Actively contributing to the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA Finance workstream.
Your Background
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting functions, including group reporting and Swiss statutory accounts.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss Withholding Tax, and Swiss VAT.
- Proficient in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Recognized as a strong team player, willing to drive change and foster collaboration.
- Ability to navigate complex financial topics and translate results into recommendations for senior leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
