About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will be an integral member of the Accelleron Switzerland Finance team based in Baden. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the complete, accurate, and timely accounting of Accelleron Switzerland Ltd. (principal company), Accelleron Industries Ltd. (holding company), and Accelleron Verwaltungs Ltd. (holding company).
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in general ledger bookings and the monitoring of general ledger accounts.
- Lead monthly closing processes in accordance with US-GAAP and report to group consolidation.
- Manage yearly closings per the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and prepare the corresponding financial statements.
- Prepare or review Swiss withholding tax and VAT filings.
- Manage changes to the chart of accounts end-to-end, from financial management to group accounting.
- Ensure transparency in financial reporting and review internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders including auditors, management, local and group finance, treasury, and tax teams.
- Implement best practices and drive continuous optimization of processes.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA Finance workstream.
Your Background
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting functions, including group reporting and Swiss statutory accounts.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss Withholding Tax, and Swiss VAT.
- Proficient in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- A recognized strong team player, willing to drive change and foster collaboration.
- Able to navigate complex financial topics and effectively translate results into recommendations for senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
