Mission of the Function
Assist and support Finance Management in all financial matters, including Financial Planning, monitoring, and analysis. Act as a business partner across the DMTR business unit.
Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Monthly close activities:
- Preparation of accruals file and sending instructions to sales.
- Review, challenge, and consolidate backup of accruals.
- Prepare journal entries to be sent to the Accounting Shared Service Center.
- Variance analysis of actual costs versus budget and forecast (off discount, coop, trade advertising…) to be reviewed with the Business Controller.
- Weekly reporting: Collaborate with the Market team to anticipate any risks/opportunities compared to the last forecast/budget.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements, focusing on enhancing gross margin.

Financial Planning
- Rolling Forecast / Latest View Process: Manage the updated financial outlook process.
- Support markets in their timely data inputs to the Financial Planning tool.
- Coordinate and enter cost center updates to the Planning tool.
- Load data into the Planning Tool.
- Budget: Collaborate with Markets, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to prepare the budget. Assist the markets with their data inputs to the Budgeting tool and analyze data submissions at sales, support, and overhead levels to ensure reasonability & target delivery.
- S&OP: Support financial data requirements for the S&OP.
- Leadership presentation: Prepare for regular leadership reviews, ensuring high exposure to top management while demonstrating strong rigor and communication skills.

- DT EMEA E-commerce monthly reporting and forecasting.
- Promote the usage & adoption of Business Intelligence tools including:
- Insight (Oracle B.I.)
- Hyperion planning tool
- Management Reporting
- Dashboard
- Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by the Business Controller.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Language: Proficiency in English; French is an asset.
- IT Skills: Excellent Excel skills are mandatory; knowledge of Database or Extraction tools (such as Access or Business Objects/Insight) is an advantage.
- Financial systems: Familiarity with Data Mining (Data Warehouse), Hyperion, and JDE.
- Ability to streamline processes and a passion to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills; team player.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills; ability to interpret P&L statements and understand related financial processes.
- Travel requirements: occasional travel may be necessary.
Qualifications
- Finance/Accounting university graduate.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of business finance or relevant experience is required, preferably within a consumer goods company in a retail environment.
- Experience in audit is an advantage.
- An international background is essential.
