Tasks

As a key member of the Lufthansa Group Finance Community, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions within the R2R process landscape. In collaboration with various stakeholders, you will ensure financial compliance and facilitate the smooth operation of our global financial processes.

  • Steer and coordinate our global operational R2R processes in close collaboration with functional departments and our business service partner within the Lufthansa Group.
  • Design and implement best-in-class financial processes and solutions, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including IT, to drive efficiency across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with local requirements and maintain high-quality financial statements.
  • Collaborate with and guide our business partners to provide exceptional financial services.
  • Identify and mitigate worldwide financial risks by coordinating the internal control system (ICS).
  • Drive innovation while continuously improving financial processes.
  • Apply project and process management methodologies to effectively navigate and manage complexity.

Requirements

We seek candidates who demonstrate independence, a passion for navigating complexity, and a strong sense of ownership.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or an "HF" Advanced Federal Diploma or Higher Education in business administration or similar, with a focus on Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in Accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate and present complex topics effectively.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Experience in project and process management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel.
