Position: Finance Process Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team as a Finance Process Analyst for a duration of 2 to 4 months, depending on the activity rate.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct an analysis of our current international finance processes related to bookkeeping and the internal control system of our project expenses.
  • Analyze similar processes at other International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) of comparable size.
  • Propose improvements regarding process definition, execution, and supporting systems (software).
  • Work directly under the supervision of the Head of Finance while collaborating with various staff at both the headquarters and project levels.

Your role will empower you to become the finance process expert that prepares our operations for the future—providing you with the independence to work autonomously and introduce innovative ideas into the organization.

Your Qualifications

  • A degree in finance or substantial finance/accounting experience within an INGO.
  • Essential: Knowledge of HQ-Field Accounting in an INGO.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic, methodical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German or French is a plus).
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of at least one accounting software.
