Join Our Innovative Team as an IS Finance Manager

We are a forward-looking company that places innovation and technology at the heart of everything we do. To ensure continuity and stability within our global finance IT landscape, we are seeking an experienced IS Finance Manager to temporarily cover a maternity leave.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position from April 2026 until mid-December 2026, based in Baden, Switzerland, with a hybrid working model.

Role Overview

In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for the global governance, development, and operation of finance information systems across finance, controlling, tax, and treasury. You will lead a team of internal and external professionals, manage complex vendor ecosystems, and ensure that finance applications support business priorities and the company’s digital roadmap.

You will report directly to the Group CIO and collaborate closely with senior finance stakeholders both in Switzerland and globally. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational continuity, delivering critical initiatives, and ensuring effective stakeholder alignment during the maternity leave coverage period.

Your Responsibilities

  • Global IS Finance Leadership & Strategy:
    • Ensure continuity of leadership for the global IS finance application landscape, covering SAP and non-SAP finance solutions.
    • Execute and govern the finance IT roadmap in alignment with finance stakeholders and corporate IT strategy.
    • Align priorities across SAP FI/CO, SAP BI/BW (finance), and other finance applications in Accounts Payable, Treasury, General Ledger reconciliation, and e-invoicing.
    • Act as the primary IS counterpart for senior finance stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making.
  • IS Sponsor Role – SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Migration:
    • Act as the IS Sponsor for the SAP S/4HANA migration project for the FI/CO area.
    • Own end-to-end IS accountability for the FI/CO workstream.
    • Track project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring transparency and timely escalation when needed.
    • Manage solution design and architecture decisions for the IS FICO side, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
  • Application Ownership & Operations:
    • Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations of finance systems, including SAP S/4HANA and other key applications.
    • Oversee application lifecycle activities, including enhancements and operational support.
    • Drive continuous improvement of system performance and user experience.
  • Project & Program Management:
    • Lead ongoing global finance IT initiatives during the maternity leave coverage period.
    • Manage the scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across complex projects.
    • Coordinate effectively with internal IT teams and finance business partners.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with finance stakeholders.
    • Manage strategic vendor relationships, monitoring performance and adherence to contracts.
  • Financial & Contract Management:
    • Manage IS finance budgets, forecasts, and cost control during the assignment period.
    • Own contract management with vendors, ensuring commercial governance and cost transparency.
  • Team Leadership & People Management:
    • Lead and support internal and external IS finance team members.
    • Ensure effective onboarding of new employees or consultants as needed.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, finance IT, or business-IT leadership roles with a strong finance focus.
  • Proven experience managing SAP FI/CO landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex IS projects and multi-vendor environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; German is an asset.
