YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a Finance Director to oversee the full scope of Finance, excluding Manufacturing Finance. This role encompasses financial planning and analysis, controlling, accounting, and operational pricing. The Finance Director will report directly to the CFO and be an integral part of the CFO Leadership Team.
PLAYING YOUR PART
You will:
- Develop and implement the long-term financial plan and annual budgets: Collaborate with the CFO, CEO, and Executive Committee to align the financial plan with the Maison’s strategic objectives, ensuring it is realistic and achievable while effectively communicating it to key stakeholders.
- Lead the forecasting process and analyze financial performance: Develop and implement a robust forecasting process, ensuring forecasts are accurate and timely. Provide insights into performance drivers, identify key trends, and offer guidance for financial performance improvement.
- Drive Finance strategy and projects: Together with the Finance Leadership team, establish and drive a vision, implementation plan, and project roadmap aligned with the Maison’s strategic objectives and priorities.
- Lead continuous improvement of financial processes, data, and systems: Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet the Maison's needs. Scout and pilot new “ways of working” while developing best practices.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business: Ensure excellent financial guidance and support for stakeholders within and around the Maison, including our international finance community, while driving optimal resource allocation.
- Lead the team: Recruit, train, and develop a team of talented professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, while ensuring the team possesses the necessary skills and resources to thrive.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
Success in this role will require:
- A Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, with a proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in the Luxury/Watchmaking industry.
- A strong background in leadership and team management.
- An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in French and English.
