Become a vital part of our finance team and contribute to the financial health and transparency of our organization through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and reliable financial processes. In this role, you will be responsible for both day-to-day accounting tasks and key controlling activities—ranging from processing transactions and maintaining financial records to budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Role Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will:
- Reliably manage several accounting tasks, including the accounts payable (AP) process, credit card expenses, and VAT declarations.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and yearly financial closings.
- Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes and perform regular follow-ups with other departments.
- Develop the financial controlling function, focusing on cost centers and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate on various initiatives related to reporting, tools, compliance, and process improvements.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
- An educational background in Accounting, Controlling, or Business Administration, along with 2-3 years of professional experience.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, combined with a hands-on mentality and a proactive, innovative approach.
- Proficiency in Abacus accounting software and related modules, as well as Power-BI.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Prior experience in implementing a new ERP system is considered an advantage.
