In this multifaceted role, you will take ownership of daily accounting tasks as well as key controlling activities. Your responsibilities will encompass processing transactions, maintaining financial records, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
- Reliably manage various accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP) processes, credit card expenses, and VAT declarations.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and yearly financial closings.
- Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring regular follow-ups with other departments.
- Develop the financial controlling function, including cost centers and KPIs.
- Collaborate on various initiatives related to reporting, tools, compliance, and process improvements.
Your Profile
- Educational background in Accounting, Controlling, or Business Administration, along with 2-3 years of professional experience.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, complemented by a hands-on mentality and a proactive, innovative approach.
- Proficient in using Abacus accounting software and related modules, as well as Power BI.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Experience in implementing a new ERP system is a plus.
