About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of testing machinery at client sites across Europe. This position requires a balance between extensive field travel and technical office work, including 3D design and laboratory reporting, all within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Your responsibilities will involve a combination of international field service, technical troubleshooting, and internal project support in the laboratory and design office. Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission high-precision machines at customer production sites
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to established plans
- Diagnose and repair technical issues on-site or via remote video support
- Support operational qualification (OQ) activities and complete GxP-compliant documentation
- Instruct customer personnel on correct machine operation and basic maintenance procedures
- Design mechanical parts and tooling using 3D software while at the office
- Conduct instrument testing and prepare analytical reports in the laboratory
Qualifications
- Completed technical apprenticeship or diploma in mechatronics, automation, electromechanics, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of metrology instruments or mechanical parts machining
- Familiarity with Solidworks or similar 3D design software
- Advanced proficiency in English (B2+ level), including technical terminology
- Valid driver's license
- Social, intellectually curious, and goal-oriented personality
