About the Company
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. Our company offers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, including Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.
Position: Field Service Representative
As a Field Service Representative, you will play a critical role in the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems. This position involves diagnosing technical issues, providing client training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while traveling internationally.
Your Main Tasks
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems at client locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Provide comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.
- Travel extensively, both locally and internationally, to support customers in various locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all field operations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions implemented, and progress reports.
- Assist in the development of service and training manuals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to effectively address customer needs.
- Identify and suggest process improvements for better service delivery while collaborating with the engineering team to relay client feedback.

- Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL) certification in electronics, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance or in a field service representative role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electronic issues.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Responsible with excellent communication skills, high social skills, and strong analytical and technical understanding to train and support clients effectively.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software applications relevant to UAV, along with solid computer skills and ERP knowledge.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer targets with positive customer feedback, and excellent active listening and probing skills.
