Position Overview: Field Service Representative

As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems. Your role will involve diagnosing technical issues, providing client training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while engaging in international travel.

Your Main Tasks

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA's UAV systems at client locations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.
  • Travel extensively, both locally and internationally, to support customers in various locations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all field operations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions implemented, and progress reports.
  • Assist in the development of service and training manuals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to effectively address customer needs.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for enhanced service delivery while collaborating with the engineering team to relay client feedback.

Qualifications

  • Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL) certification in electronics, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a field service representative role.
  • Strong technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electronic issues.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to travel internationally.
  • Responsible with excellent communication skills, high social competence, and good analytical and technical understanding to effectively train and support clients.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software applications relevant to UAVs; solid computer skills and ERP knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer targets and receiving positive feedback.
  • Excellent active listening and probing skills.
