Field Service Expert (Flying Doctor)

Your Tasks
- Coordination and execution of service assignments for our Mikron Mill milling machines and StepTec spindles.
- Creation of service reports.
- Analysis and diagnosis of recurring error patterns, determining root causes in close cooperation with our development and assembly departments.
- Development of advanced PLC software diagnostics and detailed error descriptions for the software department, along with support for troubleshooting efforts.
- Providing support and assistance to our sales companies and customers in technical matters as part of 2nd level support.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in servicing CNC machines.
- Extensive knowledge of Heidenhain controls (from iTNC 530 onwards).
- Familiarity with CNC milling machine applications.
- Proven ability to work independently and a strong motivation to acquire new knowledge.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to approximately 80% of the time.
