Field Service Expert (Flying Doctor)

Your Tasks
- Coordinate and execute service assignments for our Mikron Mill milling machines and StepTec spindles.
- Create detailed service reports.
- Analyze and diagnose recurring error patterns in close cooperation with the development and assembly departments.
- Develop advanced PLC software diagnostics and provide detailed error descriptions for the software department while assisting with troubleshooting.
- Support sales companies and customers with technical matters in a 2nd level support capacity.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience servicing CNC machines.
- Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls (from iTNC 530 onwards).
- Familiarity with applications on CNC milling machines.
- Ability to work independently with a motivation to acquire new knowledge.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel worldwide up to approximately 80%.
