Job Description

Field Sales Engineer (FSE) - Switzerland

Job Summary

The Field Sales Engineer will be pivotal in managing customer relationships in Switzerland. Our goal is to develop and expand MPS's presence in the region by targeting high-potential sectors such as automotive, industrial, consumer, and other relevant applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background and an established understanding of the Swiss market.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for all design-in activities, ensuring their successful implementation within assigned customer accounts and acquiring new customers.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass assigned revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering teams within MPS divisions to identify target applications and circuits, boosting design wins and expanding product share with both new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with management and design engineering teams at strategic customer accounts.
  • Identify and engage new target customers to expand the MPS customer base.

  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn and successfully apply the full MPS product portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating strengths in active listening, effective collaboration, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Persuasive communicator, able to engage closely with MPS leadership and product divisions to articulate and advocate business strategies, revenue goals, and customer requirements effectively.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

Requirements

  • A technical degree (minimum Bachelor’s) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a proven track record of success in selling electronic components for 4+ years.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
  • Location: North of Switzerland or Southwest Germany.
