Field Marketing Manager - Surgery
Location: Switzerland
We are seeking a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to support our Surgery division. This key role is instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Objectives of the Position
- Accountable for assigned product, technology & service segment and achievement of business goals.
- Product owner and expert for assigned products in Switzerland.
- Ongoing market analysis and product segment performance analysis for existing brands and new products to manage the product life cycle effectively.
- Increase profitability through product mix management.
- Identify industry trends and relevant competitive information.
- Implement and maintain in-depth knowledge of competitor's products and strategies in the local market.
- Identify new business opportunities for the assigned product & service segment.
- Develop and execute strategy for the assigned product & service segment and new product introduction plans.
- Prepare and implement annual marketing plans for the assigned product & service segment to achieve business goals.
- Support sales team and customers for new product introductions and assigned product & service segment through product presentations, first-class clinical support, and tailored training offerings.
- Build and maintain a relevant network with clinical key opinion leaders and stakeholders in the buying cycle to understand needs and translate them into business opportunities.
- Coordinate and support relevant congress appearances, marketing events, and professional education events.
- Collaborate with all relevant national and international functions including customer service, sales team, sales managers, EMEA, global marketing managers, and external partners to drive execution and deliver on marketing plans and strategies related to the assigned product & service segment.
Qualifications
- Required: University / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing in medical devices.
- Prior experience in the Surgery and/or Enabling Technology industry is preferred.
- Languages: English and German are required; French/Italian are beneficial.
- The position is located in Zuchwil and Zug, Switzerland, and requires travel up to 25% of the time.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Good leadership and project management skills as well as a sense of entrepreneurship.
- Team player with the ability to work in matrix environments.
- Able to rapidly build trust and effectively interact and collaborate with others.
- Strong strategic and analytic capabilities, including excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, including AI, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
