Field Marketing Manager - Surgery
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to support our Surgery division. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Objectives of the Position
- Accountable for assigned product, technology, and service segment, achieving business goals.
- Serve as product owner and expert for assigned products in Switzerland.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis and product segment performance analysis to actively manage the product life cycle.
- Increase profitability through effective product mix management.
- Identify industry trends and gather relevant competitive insights.
- Develop a deep knowledge of competitors' products and strategies in the local market.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned product and service segment.
- Develop and execute strategies for the assigned product and service segment and introduce new products.
- Prepare and implement annual marketing plans for the assigned product and service segment to meet business goals.
- Support sales teams and customers during new product introductions with product presentations, clinical support, and tailored training.
- Build and maintain a network with clinical key opinion leaders and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into business opportunities.
- Coordinate and support relevant congress appearances, marketing events, and professional education initiatives.
- Collaborate with national and international functions, including customer service, sales teams, and marketing managers, to drive execution and achieve marketing strategies related to the assigned product and service segment.
Qualifications
- University Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing in medical devices.
- Prior experience in the Surgery or Enabling Technology industry is preferred.
- Experience in other MedTech businesses or global/regional marketing teams is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and German is required (French/Italian is a benefit).
- The position is located in Zuchwil and Zug, Switzerland, with travel required up to 25% of the time.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to build trust and effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strategic and analytical capabilities, including problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
