Job Opportunity: Field Application Specialist (x|f|m)
We are seeking a dedicated Field Application Specialist (x|f|m) to join our home-based team in Hessen, Bavaria, or Switzerland, supporting the Incucyte® at Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH & Co. KG. In this pivotal role, you will manage customer support within a designated territory, providing product expertise, application knowledge, training, and technical support to our valued customers. You will serve as the technical expert with extensive market insight, supporting the sales team through seminars, pre-sales discussions, and demonstrations.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage and support a designated territory, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Act as the technical expert for Incucyte® in the region, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Incucyte® product training for customers, both in-person and remotely, along with follow-up training and workshops.
- Provide product application support and troubleshoot customer issues efficiently.
- Support sales with instrument and software demonstrations.
- Identify necessary reagents and consumables for demonstrations.
- Attend customer meetings with sales to discuss product applications.
- Provide basic product training to sales colleagues and partners.
- Collect and analyze data on product performance and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer insights.
- Communicate with the service team to ensure the proper functioning of instruments.
- Work closely with sales colleagues to manage the territory.
What Will Convince Us
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Ph.D. preferred but not required if you have a master's degree and several years of research lab experience.
- Laboratory experience in a relevant area for the Incucyte®, including mammalian cell culture, is essential.
- Strong experience working with microscopes, including confocal microscopes, would be advantageous.
- Understanding of life science research with the ability to spot emerging trends.
- Excellent written and oral communication, along with presentation skills.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively interface with product, project, and division management.
- Proven software skills, e.g., Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Fluent in English and German.
