We are seeking a talented Field Account Manager for our Sales Bioprocess Solutions department, specializing in Strategic Accounts. This role is open to candidates located in Switzerland (Canton of Valais), Germany, or the United Kingdom (Greater London area). You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Strategic Accounts, focusing on Research & Development within the biopharmaceutical industry. Our dynamic team consists of four professionals, and we are excited about the opportunity to shape the future together. This full-time position is primarily remote but requires some on-site presence at our strategic accounts in Switzerland or the UK, with an expectation to travel approximately 50% within the specified region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement the seeding strategy in Strategic Accounts and modality segments.
  • Establish strong technical relationships with customers to promote technology adoption and collaborate with the commercial team.
  • Provide consultancy to accelerate molecule development and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Present Sartorius solutions that meet customer needs and align with their KPIs.
  • Conduct trials and demonstrations at customer locations to capitalize on early opportunities, working closely with Field Account Specialists and Business Area teams.
  • Facilitate process transfers regionally and globally, sharing knowledge and best practices with the commercial team.
  • Act as a process consultant to promote the adoption of Sartorius technologies and support regulatory activities to enhance market awareness and establish expertise.

What Will Convince Us

  • A Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field in life sciences.
  • Several years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, process characterization, technology transfer, production, or application support in either upstream or downstream areas.
  • Proven skills in relevant process unit operations within cGMP Bioprocessing, along with applicable regulatory knowledge.
  • Understanding of biologics drug development and application processes, with effective communication and presentation of technical value.
  • Ability to excel in teamwork and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, taking strong ownership of projects while executing collectively.
  • A commercial mindset with a strong sense of business acumen.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
  • A self-motivated and ambitious approach.
  • Willingness to embrace change and pursue continuous improvement with an entrepreneurial spirit.
