We are seeking a dynamic Field Account Manager for our Bioprocess Solutions department, specifically focused on Strategic Accounts. This position can be based in Switzerland (Canton of Valais), Germany, or the United Kingdom (Greater London area). As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for managing Strategic Accounts within the biopharmaceutical industry's Research and Development sector. Our team is composed of four dedicated professionals, and we look forward to shaping the future of bioprocessing alongside you. The position is full-time and primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits required at our Strategic Accounts in Switzerland or the UK. Expect to travel approximately 50% of the time within the specified region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute the seeding strategy in Strategic Accounts and modality segments.
  • Build robust technical relationships with customers to drive technology adoption and collaborate effectively with the commercial team.
  • Provide consultancy to accelerate molecule development and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Present Sartorius solutions that align with customer needs and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct trials and demonstrations at customer sites to capitalize on early opportunities, working closely with Field Account Specialists and Business Area teams.
  • Support process transfers both regionally and globally, sharing knowledge and best practices with the commercial team.
  • Act as a process consultant to facilitate the adoption of Sartorius technologies while supporting regulatory activities to enhance market presence and brand authority.

Candidate Requirements

  • Master's degree in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field in life sciences.
  • Several years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, process characterization, technology transfer, production, or application support in upstream or downstream processes.
  • Proven expertise in relevant process unit operations in cGMP Bioprocessing and a solid understanding of related regulatory requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of biologics drug development and application processes; ability to communicate and present technical value propositions effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, demonstrating ownership of projects while executing collaborative efforts.
  • Commercial acumen and a business-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious; able to embrace change and pursue continuous improvement with an entrepreneurial spirit.
