We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Account Manager for our R&D Strategic Accounts within the Sales Bioprocess Solutions department. This position is based in Switzerland (Canton of Valais), Germany, or the United Kingdom (Greater London area). In this role, you will focus on our Strategic Accounts engaged in Research & Development within the biopharmaceutical industry. The team consists of four professionals, and we are excited about the prospect of shaping the future alongside you. This is a full-time position that offers a remote work model, requiring occasional on-site visits to strategic accounts in Switzerland or the UK, with the flexibility to work some days remotely. Travel within the specified region is required, amounting to approximately 50%.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute the seeding strategy in Strategic Accounts and modality segments.
  • Build strong technical relationships with customers to drive technology adoption and collaborate with the commercial team.
  • Provide consultancy to accelerate molecule development and support long-term partnerships.
  • Present Sartorius solutions that are both relevant and practical for customers and their KPIs.
  • Conduct trials and demonstrations at customer sites to commercialize early opportunities, working closely with Field Account Specialists and Business Area teams.
  • Support process transfer regionally and globally, sharing knowledge and best practices with the commercial team.
  • Act as a process consultant to promote the adoption of Sartorius technologies and support regulatory activities to enhance market awareness and establish an expert image.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should:

  • Hold a Master's degree in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field in life sciences.
  • Have several years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, process characterization, technology transfer, production, or application support in upstream or downstream processes.
  • Demonstrate proven skills in relevant process unit operations in cGMP bioprocessing, along with related regulatory knowledge.
  • Understand biologics drug development and application processes, effectively communicating and presenting technical added values.
  • Excel in teamwork and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, taking strong ownership of projects while working collectively.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and demonstrate a commercial mindset.
  • Be fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
  • Show self-motivation and ambition.
