Job Opportunity: Field Account Manager Bioprocess Solutions (x|f|m)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Field Account Manager Bioprocess Solutions (x|f|m) to join our team, working remotely based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned group of accounts, proactively selling our comprehensive bioprocess portfolio, and nurturing robust customer relationships to enhance our position within target organizations.

Our team consists of six professionals, and we are excited to shape the future together. This full-time remote position requires some on-site visits to customers across the German-speaking region of Switzerland, with flexibility for remote work. Please note that this role requires approximately 50% travel within the designated area.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities that align with the organization's market and growth strategy.
  • Actively promote newly launched innovative products and services, ensuring successful implementation of sales activities.
  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, and respond to inquiries, suggesting appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and implement tailored account plans, coordinating resources in alignment with these plans.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance market awareness and devise successful strategies for gaining new business.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and execute projects, adhering to strict procedures and deadlines.
  • Translate technical and business concepts to meet customer needs, providing support in supply chain and quality issues.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare quarterly budgets and forecasts.

What Will Convince Us

  • You hold an academic degree in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a related field in life sciences.
  • Relevant sales experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industry is advantageous but not required.
  • You have a solid understanding of biologics drug development and application processes, with the ability to communicate and present technical benefits effectively.
  • You excel in teamwork and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, exhibiting strong ownership of projects.
  • You possess a keen business sense and exhibit a commercial mindset.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
  • You are proactive, goal-oriented, and collaborative in your approach.
  • You are willing to travel within Switzerland and internationally (up to 50%).
  • You hold a valid Swiss driving license.
