Field Account Manager Bioprocess Solutions (x|f|m)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Field Account Manager Bioprocess Solutions (x|f|m) to work remotely from the German-speaking part of Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned group of accounts. Your primary focus will be on proactively selling our comprehensive bioprocess portfolio and cultivating strong customer relationships to enhance our position within target organizations.

Our team consists of six talented professionals, and we are excited to shape the future together with you. This full-time position requires some on-site presence with our customers across the German-speaking part of Switzerland; however, you will also have the opportunity to work remotely some days. Note that this role involves 50% travel within the specified region.

  • Identify new business opportunities that align with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
  • Actively promote newly launched innovative products and services, following up on the successful implementation of sales activities.
  • Analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and implement account plans while coordinating resources as per the account strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance market awareness and devise effective strategies to secure new business.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within your assigned territory.
  • Manage and execute projects according to strict procedures and deadlines.
  • Translate technical and business concepts to meet customer needs, providing support in supply chain and quality issues.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare quarterly budgets and forecasts.

What Will Convince Us

  • You hold an academic degree in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a related field in life sciences.
  • Relevant sales experience within the Biopharmaceutical or Life Science Industry is a plus, but not mandatory for this role.
  • You understand biologics drug development and application processes and can effectively communicate and present technical added values.
  • You excel in teamwork and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams without formal authority, taking ownership of projects and executing them collaboratively.
  • You possess sound business acumen and demonstrate a commercial attitude.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills are essential.
  • You have a proactive, goal-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
  • You are willing to travel within Switzerland and internationally (50%).
  • A valid Swiss Driving License is required.
