About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for Facility Management and Building Security at our site in Baden, Switzerland, addressing the operational needs of the business.
Reporting to the head of management systems, you will manage the day-to-day operations of Facility Management and Building Security while driving strategic and continuous improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of this function.
Your Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing facility management and security strategies for the Baden site.
- Planning and executing cleaning, maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently, maximizing the lifespan of equipment, minimizing the risk of failure, and adhering to statutory obligations.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Implementing proper security measures and procedures for the workplace, including emergency preparedness.
- Overseeing appropriate maintenance, inspection, and testing activities for all emergency and fire safety equipment and systems, ensuring records are maintained.
- Leading, developing, and managing the Facility Management and Security team, ensuring continuous process improvement and driving innovation within the team.
Your Background
- Proven experience in leadership roles (managerial or project management).
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Facility Management and/or Security.
- Strong service orientation with a drive to learn and improve, and a solid process orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in lean management and process management.
- Good command of English and German, both spoken and written.
