Service Delivery Manager
W Talent Property & Real Estate is excited to announce our exclusive partnership with a national retailer boasting over 300 locations. We are looking to hire a Service Delivery Manager to join their property team, responsible for overseeing maintenance delivery through their national service provider. This is a field-based role, typically requiring 1-2 days on-site per week.
About the Role
Our client seeks an experienced facilities leader to manage both reactive and planned maintenance across their national portfolio. You will oversee maintenance activities, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with required standards. This role will provide leadership to the outsourced maintenance provider while supporting internal stakeholders to keep sites safe, compliant, and operationally efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the national portfolio in partnership with the outsourced service provider.
- Ensure performance in maintenance and compliance adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Plan and manage minor works projects from initiation to completion.
- Proactively oversee the outsourced maintenance provider, including regular office visits to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including support functions and operational leaders.
- Track, forecast, report, and analyze OPEX and CAPEX.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, focusing on process enhancements, cost efficiencies, and service improvements.
- Utilize data and insights to enhance service delivery and minimize recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, property, and statutory maintenance requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in managing both reactive and planned maintenance delivery across a high-volume portfolio.
- Relevant experience in facilities and property management in high-volume retail, high street, or similar sectors.
- Experience in managing external contractors, suppliers, and ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on building relationships with operational leaders and branch partners, as well as support functions.
- Experience in budget management, delivering value-for-money solutions.
- Knowledge of applicable compliance, health, and safety requirements.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites across the UK as needed.
What They Offer
