W Talent Property & Real Estate is excited to announce our exclusive partnership with a national retailer boasting over 300 locations. We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Delivery Manager to join their property team and oversee maintenance delivery through their national service provider. This is primarily a field-based role, typically involving home working with one day per week in Milton Keynes.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced facilities leader who can manage both reactive and planned maintenance across their extensive portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant service delivery, while also providing leadership to their outsourced maintenance provider. Your efforts will support internal stakeholders and partners, ensuring that all sites are safe, compliant, and operationally efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the national portfolio in partnership with the outsourced service provider.
• Monitor and ensure performance regarding maintenance and compliance in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Plan and manage minor works projects from scoping to completion.
• Proactively oversee the outsourced facilities and maintenance provider, including regular site visits to ensure ongoing service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including support functions, branch partners, and operational leaders.
• Track, forecast, report, and analyze OPEX and CAPEX.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in process efficiency, cost reductions, and service enhancements.
• Use data and insights to enhance service delivery and minimize recurring issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, property, and statutory maintenance requirements.

About You

• Proven experience in managing both reactive and planned maintenance delivery across a high-volume portfolio.
• Relevant facilities and property experience in high-volume retail, high-street, or similar sectors.
• Experience in managing external contractors, suppliers, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build effective relationships with operational leaders and branch partners, as well as support functions.
• Experience in budget management, including delivering value-for-money solutions.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance, health, and safety requirements.
• A full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites across the UK as needed.

What We Offer
