About the Role

Our ambition is to lead in immunology across international markets, with Remibrutinib as a cornerstone and key launch initiative. The Executive Director International, Remibrutinib, plays a crucial role in crafting the comprehensive brand strategy, which includes envisioning, developing, orchestrating, implementing, and evaluating integrated strategies for Remibrutinib across major international markets. As an enterprise leader, the Executive Director will concentrate on the top three countries: Germany, Japan, and China, guiding the successful launch and expansion of Remibrutinib. This includes leading the launch efforts for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and supporting the introduction of Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) among other lifecycle management (LCM) initiatives.

The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the Global Drug Development, International Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Customer & Market Activation teams to drive consistent strategy development and execution. This role represents the commercial team in various organizational contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • International Launch Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the launch plan for assigned indications, ensuring alignment with overall asset strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate a global and international cross-functional team including Medical, Regulatory, Access, Commercial, and Supply to ensure a seamless launch execution.
  • Launch Readiness: Evaluate and drive readiness across core and priority markets by identifying risks and enabling mitigation plans for timely launch execution.
  • Insight Integration: Utilize market research, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder feedback for refining positioning, messaging, and tactical planning.
  • International-Local Partnership: Partner closely with regional and country teams to ensure the effective implementation of the global strategy, providing guidance and tools for in-market success.
  • Milestone Tracking & Governance: Define and monitor critical launch milestones and KPIs; lead governance updates and ensure timely decision-making across key forums.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate Remibrutinib’s vision and strategic goals to senior leaders, including the International Leadership Team, Country Presidents, and regional heads.
  • Compliance & Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of compliance and launch excellence in all activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with global development teams to influence target product profiles and Integrated Evidence Plans, aiming to maximize commercialization and patient access for new indications of Remibrutinib.
  • Leadership Initiatives: Lead Remibrutinib International Commercialization Excellence initiatives, emphasizing best practices in customer engagement strategies. Foster a customer-centric mindset among international and country teams to enhance patient reach and commercial impact.

Essential Requirements

  • Over 15 years of commercial experience across various functions at both the country and above-country levels, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the commercial landscape.
  • A proven record of successful launches, with leadership experience in commercial and therapeutic areas within core markets.
  • Extensive commercial experience in immunology, particularly in collaboration with dermatologists and allergologists.
  • Experience with high-performing or high-growth brands or markets, demonstrating a clear understanding of key drivers influencing customer and patient behaviors to ensure successful asset launches.
  • Ability to translate scientific data into differentiated brand value propositions for impactful launches throughout all lifecycle management phases.
  • A strong history of effective collaboration and partnership with cross-unit, cross-functional teams to achieve strategic performance targets.
