Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee and ensure smooth operations in all kitchen areas of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchens in the hotel, including:
- À la carte restaurants
- Bars
- In-room dining
- Breakfast services
- Banqueting and catering services
- Achieve high guest satisfaction and profitability through optimal use of resources.
- Implement hotel-specific quality standards and management requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of machinery, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Regularly inspect kitchens and storage areas.
- Monitor production processes, methods, and conditions.
- Maintain strict control over all food items issued to and from the kitchen.
- Ensure all orders are prepared according to specifications.
- Minimize food waste through proper portion and production control.
- Create menus, including costing and calculations.
- Maintain food cost percentages within budget.
- Coordinate maintenance of kitchen equipment with the Facility Manager.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness in coordination with the Chef Steward.
