Job Description

Do you operate giants? Then you fit with us!

If you have experience with large machinery, love the power under the hood, and possess an eye for detail, we are looking for you. You will operate a 100-ton hydraulic excavator on demanding demolition and civil engineering projects. You don’t just tear down; you also build up: specialist demolition, construction pits, remediation of contaminated sites, sheet piling, and retaining walls are your domain.

You will work closely with site management, foremen, and construction management, establishing yourself as a pro among pros. Taking responsibility for your machine is essential, and daily checks, maintenance, and minor repairs will become part of your routine. Safety, quality, and environmental standards are integral to our operations. You will work according to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Qualifications & Certificates Expected

  • Training as a construction machinery operator or solid professional experience as an operator in civil engineering and demolition.
  • SUVA-recognized construction machinery operator’s license, category M2 (hydraulic / tracked excavator).
  • Ideally: experience with excavators over 80 tons, preferably 100 tons.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering; experience in specialist civil engineering is an advantage (sheet piling, foundations, etc.).
  • Driving license category B (category C would be an additional asset).
  • Motivation for further training and openness to new technologies.

Personal Characteristics

  • Resilient, reliable, and responsible.
  • High commitment and flexibility.
  • Independent, precise, and safe working style.
  • Team-oriented, cooperative, and solution-focused.
  • Environmentally and safety-conscious behavior.
  • Motivation to work in an established Swiss construction company with a modern fleet of machines.

We Offer

Your area of operation: Winterthur and surrounding regions with exciting demolition and civil engineering projects. A modern fleet of machines means you will be operating tomorrow's technology rather than yesterday's. We are an employer with heart and intelligence, boasting over 60 locations and 2,000 employees, all ISO certified, sustainable, and future-proof.

Collegiality, respect, and trust are not just slogans; they are part of our daily work life. We provide room for growth with internal training, further education, and advancement opportunities.
