These hotels are strategically located just steps away from the terminals, nestled within the vibrant “Circle” district. This dual-hotel complex is integrated into a dynamic ecosystem featuring retail, dining, and a Convention Center with 17 meeting rooms and a convention hall that accommodates up to 1,500 guests. It stands as one of Hyatt’s most prominent showcases in Europe.

Role Overview

As the Event Sales Manager, you will monitor the competitive landscape, cultivate lasting client relationships, and analyze trends on local, national, and international levels to ensure we consistently offer the best experience for our guests and clients. You will also identify new markets and business opportunities, driving the visibility of Hyatt Regency & Hyatt Place The Circle among potential partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively promote all event spaces within the hotel, including meeting rooms, convention hall, outdoor areas, and restaurants.
  • Prepare professional proposals and contracts, encompassing room layouts, technical requirements, and food & beverage suggestions.
  • Lead negotiations and conduct site inspections.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business.
  • Manage and maintain company data within the Envision hotel system.
  • Collaborate closely with the Event Planning, Culinary, and Service teams, along with other operational departments.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in an international hotel setting with meeting facilities.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is highly preferred.
  • A well-established network within Zurich.
  • The ability to present yourself and the company in a persuasive and impactful manner.
