Event Sales Manager

Located just steps from the terminals in the vibrant “Circle” district of Zurich, Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport (255 Rooms) and Hyatt Place Zurich Airport (300 Rooms) represent one of Hyatt’s premier showcases in Europe. Our dual-hotel cluster is surrounded by a dynamic ecosystem of retail, dining, and a Convention Center featuring 17 meeting rooms and a convention hall that accommodates up to 1,500 guests.

Role Overview

As the Event Sales Manager, you will monitor industry competition, cultivate sustainable client relationships, and analyze local, national, and international trends to ensure we continually provide exceptional experiences for our guests and clients. You will also identify new markets and business opportunities, maintaining a high level of self-motivation to ensure Hyatt Regency & Hyatt Place The Circle remain at the forefront of potential partners' and clients' minds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active promotion of all event spaces within the hotel, including meeting rooms, the convention hall, outdoor areas, and restaurants.
  • Preparation of professional proposals and contracts, including room layouts, technical requirements, and food and beverage suggestions.
  • Leading negotiations and conducting site inspections.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to increase repeat business.
  • Managing company data within the hotel system, Envision.
  • Collaborating closely with Event Planning, Culinary, Service teams, and other operational departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in an international hotel with meeting facilities.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is highly preferred.
  • Well-networked within Zurich.
  • Ability to present yourself and the company in a persuasive and impactful manner.
