Job Description

The Risk Management & Compliance function in Core Business Supply leads, steers, and supports the business to safeguard the IKEA brand. Together with effective monitoring and follow-up, we foster risk-aware decision-making and practical business control. Risk Management & Compliance collaborates closely with various organizational levels and provides support to:

  • Strengthen the IKEA brand and protect our assets
  • Maintain an overall security-aware culture
  • Steer and lead compliance activities

As an Ethics & Integrity Leader, your primary responsibility will be to drive the Ethics and Integrity capability as part of the Risk Management and Compliance strategic direction. In this role, you will:

  • Lead corporate global investigations related to allegations of non-compliance with the Inter IKEA Group Code of Conduct, including planning, fact finding, document analysis, non-confrontational interviews, and report writing, covering issues such as corruption and harassment.
  • Act as a proactive ambassador for Ethics & Integrity across the business, handling ad-hoc questions and providing guidance on a range of ethics-related topics.
  • Support the broader Ethics & Integrity capability by analyzing key metrics, creating dashboards, conducting data analytics, identifying trends, and analyzing previous cases and learnings. Drive continuous improvement in processes and technology, including AI adoption.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in developing and improving Ethics & Integrity-related steering documents and training programs (i.e., investigative capabilities, anti-corruption, code of conduct, etc.), and facilitate training as needed.
  • Oversee quality assurance for Ethics & Integrity cases, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements, as well as IKEA values.
  • Serve as a center of expertise, mentoring, developing, and supporting the building of investigative capabilities among local co-workers.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following knowledge, skills, and experiences are valuable:

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in investigations within a global and culturally diverse environment.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in ethics, compliance, and investigations (e.g., Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent professional experience).
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and best practices (e.g., whistleblowing, anti-corruption, handling of personal data, harassment, discrimination).
  • Understanding of compliance with a Code of Conduct and related policies.
  • Strong business English language skills; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, facilitation, coaching, active listening, and presentations to senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking ability, interviewing acumen, open-source research skills, and e-discovery expertise.
