Background
As the Equipment Management Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will drive process harmonization, defining, designing, and deploying our future ERP solution based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms as the backbone of our future Equipment platform (ASPIRE). This initiative aims to simplify, standardize, and harmonize global business processes for Equipment Management within the ION.
In your capacity as the SME and local Change requester for cross-site Equipment Management, you will be responsible for the support, preparation, and readiness of the global P2RFA (Plan to Retire Fixed Assets) template and related functions across sites. Collaborating closely with multiple functions, you will maintain a customer-centric mindset.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage equipment, including the creation and maintenance of EQ master data, tracking status, and supporting partner functions for calibration and maintenance requests.
- Monitor maintenance and calibration orders, review certificates, and create non-conformity reports in case of deviations.
- Drive preparation activities for the data migration load cycle in close collaboration with local Equipment Management partners.
- Create test case scenarios through cross-functional collaboration with departments and experts across the ION network to ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing of Equipment Management processes.
- Review and provide input on process changes while understanding the impact and risks to the business and compliance, ensuring alignment at both global and local levels.
- Identify training needs and proactively develop training material for Equipment owners and Managers.
- Support the maintenance team in transitioning Mobile Maintenance into Aspire, alongside performing cost- and time-optimized analysis of internal and external calibrations and maintenance.
Must Haves
- Technical background with considerable experience in a diagnostics manufacturing environment, focusing on process development.
- Extensive (minimum 5 years) understanding of processes, master data, data coherence, system landscape, and integrations, with recognized expertise in Plant Maintenance / Plan to retire fixed assets.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking, alongside a high degree of teamwork.
- Knowledge of regulated industry practices (GxP Standards) for product and process compliance and sustainment.
- Experience in a project environment, familiarity with matrix structure, and excellent networking skills.
- Skilled in SAP (PM), Trello, HP-ALM, and gSuite.
- Proficient in English.
